The last weekend of October was packed with events! After the festive founding of the KUHN DRIVERS CLUB on Friday evening, Saturday continued with the TECHday at the Lommis branch of KUHN Schweiz AG.
Exhibition and insights
There was plenty to discover on the branch premises. In the workshop, where the big machinists’ party had taken place the night before, visitors could explore the metalworking section and learn more about the customer service and spare parts department.
Outside, an impressive machine exhibition showcased Komatsu models up to 20 tons, several Sennebogen machines, and an SBM crusher.
One of the highlights was the Komatsu PC33E, a fully electric mini excavator that attracted great interest. The innovative drone offering also captivated visitors.
Action in the gravel pit
At a nearby pit, visitors got to see the machines in action – and even take the controls themselves. Under the guidance of KUHN product managers, they had the chance to operate the equipment.
“Really cool to actually get behind the controls myself,” said one enthusiastic visitor.
TECHday a success despite the weather
Even though the weather wasn’t perfect that Saturday, it didn’t dampen the atmosphere. After all, work doesn’t only happen in the sunshine!
